Hello everyone!
It’s hard to believe an entire year has passed!!! On Labor Day weekend last year, we hosted a running event in Evarts, KY, in memory of a dear friend, Ryan Middleton of Cawood. We plan to do this again this year!!! Last year, we had a total of 44 race participants and volunteers on top of that! As you know, all the money made from the registration fees at the race goes to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, since that is where Ryan received the bulk of his treatment. We sent a check to them last year for almost $1,000!!!
As spring arrives, we are gearing up for the 2nd annual Ryan’s Homerun 5K and 2-mile walk event on Labor Day Weekend!!! We are trying to get all of our ducks in a row at the moment. Please mark your calendar for Labor Day weekend this year and keep an eye on the website for updates as they come! Let’s see if we can top that $1,000 mark this year!!!!!!!!
